I didn’t plan to become a life coach. It’s a vocation that gradually revealed itself to me during years of working in other professions, and through my efforts to understand and heal myself.
I know from my own experience that coaching is a wonderful resource that can help you release blocks, re-energise your spirit, and refocus on what actually matters.
My professional path
I began my professional life in the advertising industry. During the past three decades I’ve produced commercials; driven charity fundraising; taught Business English; run a copywriting and translation business; and coached public speaking. I welcomed my first life coaching clients in 2013.
What do these various impulses have in common? I guess a focus on what makes communication real. I believe being able to communicate clearly and authentically is a key component of success in many fields. I bring this quality to my coaching programs.
My personal path
I had a challenging start to my personal life, which required me to become self-reliant from an early age. I learned to evaluate and experiment with different ways of becoming more balanced, resilient and self-disciplined. I discovered first hand what it means to change your mindset and take responsibility for your life.
In my 20s, I spent months travelling in Asia and Australia, which led to a breakthrough in my self-awareness. Since then, I’ve explored many developmental tools including: dynamic meditation, psychodrama, NLP, improvisational theatre, five rhythms, systemic constellations, lucid dreaming and astrology.
An intuitive adviser
As a life coach, I work with resources I have tested on myself. My life experience enables me to offer unusual insights and useful solutions to challenges my clients may be facing.
I am an intuitive adviser and dependable partner in processes of change, in part because I’ve worked through so much change myself.
