Coaching questions

Why do I need coaching?

Clients come to coaching for various reasons. These are some of the most frequent:

  • I want to experience less stress and more harmony in my life
  • How do I get clear about my life priorities?
  • I have several different talents – how do I manage and integrate them?
  • How can I motivate myself to achieve my goals?
  • I’d like to create more quality time for myself
  • What techniques can I use to become more focused?
  • How can I express more of my creativity?
  • I’m facing a significant life transition and need support. Can you help?

How does coaching differ from therapy?

Therapy generally aims to heal emotional or mental illness, whereas coaching focuses on enhancing wellness and increasing success for individuals whose lives already work reasonably well.

The question I ask is: can you imagine your life working better?

How long have you been coaching?

I welcomed my first clients in 2013.

What’s the focus of your coaching?

I help my clients to create personal change. This often involves increasing self-awareness; recognising potential; and developing intuition and self-confidence.

From a process point of view, I support you to decide what you want to change; identify blocks or obstacles; set achievable goals; and commit to achieving them.

Are you a spiritual coach?

I’m certainly a spiritual person. However, I describe myself as a holistic coach. My coaching approach aims to harmonise rational, emotional and intuitive ways of developing through life. I place equal emphasis on mind, body and spirit.

Do your clients need any previous experience?

It’s an advantage if you have prior experience of self-development tools and processes (e.g. meditation, journaling, yoga, therapy) but this is not required.

You will get the most out of working with me if you bring curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to look for authentic answers.

Do you have testimonials?

Yes. I published a selection here.

How long are your coaching programs/processes?

My introductory program, ‘Clarifier’, contains two coaching sessions along with a guided process of self-evaluation and reflection. It’s designed to help you get clear about where you stand in your life at the moment. Read more about ‘Clarifier’ here.

Clients who wish to continue commit to a 4-month coaching process, ‘Integrator’ or ‘Redefiner’, which can be extended by mutual agreement.

If you’d like to know more about how the coaching processes work, e-mail me.

What’s the first step to working with you?

I prefer an initial approach by e-mail. I’ve found that writing a few lines about why you are considering coaching is a useful way of gaining clarity. You can expect a reply within two business days.

The next step is to schedule an introductory conversation, which we conduct virtually via Zoom. This lasts up to thirty minutes.

It’s an opportunity for both of us to get an idea of how we might work together. I’d like to know more about what you expect from coaching. You may have questions about me, and about how I work.

Our introductory conversation is free of charge.

Wäre es möglich die Coaching-Sitzungen auf Deutsch abzuhalten?
